Thank You For your Interest in Joining the Friendly Face Family! We understand that you may be anxious, however there a couple things you should know about our intake process before filling out an application.
As much as we would to accept it, Medicaid DOES NOT cover Appplied Behavior Analysis. If you do have medicaid and want to explore other options please feel free to contact us.
Before you fill out an application, make sure you have a psychological evaluation stating the child has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder as well as a prescription for applied behavior analysis written on an official state prescription blank. In some cases a prescription and diagnosis will be combined in an evaluation, please let us know if this applies to you in the “comments” section of the application. You will be asked to upload these documents on the intake application.
Once you submit the application, you will receive an email asking you to complete a short questionnaire.
After you fill out the questionnaire, A member of our intake team will contact you to schedule a tour
This tour is so that you can get a feel for the services we offer and so that we can discuss how best we can help you, and get to know you and your family.
After the tour, if we feel our clinic can truly benefit you and your family we will request an authorization for an initial ABA assessment for your child, put together a team of clinicians and initiate services.
Depending on your availability for a tour and the responsiveness of your insurance company, this process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
